Alex has been in full time ministry for over 20 years. He has pastored, offering care and vision for middle school, high school, college age and worship ministries in Wichita, KS at Countryside Christian Church. In 2013, Alex and his family moved to the Kansas City area to pursue church planting with Stadia, a church planting organization, quickly finding Independence Missouri through prayer and connections. 

In 2015, Alex and team launched Revive Church inside Van Horn High School (urban core of KC) with a mission to bring new life to the neighborhood in the name of and power of Jesus. In 2017, they moved to a permanent location in NW Independence and recently paid off the building. Alex has functioned as Lead Pastor and Community Development Champion for the past decade. 

Alex graduated from Manhattan Christian College with a Bachelor of Science in Bible/Worship, completed the Cultivate Church Plant Training and is active in several KC based efforts to unify the church and support those in leadership. Alex is an accomplished musician and avid runner/local high school cross country coach.

Alex married his high school sweetheart, Krystin and is still amazed she said yes! Two kids, Nora and Axel complete the team and they all love living life on mission together.

Alex has been coached by Pastor Serve since 2016 and has learned so many vital pieces to stay in the game. He is excited to share those learnings with other pastors.
