Hi. This is Jay Fowler with a one-minute word of encouragement for your pastor.
Leading can be lonely. And it can be hard.
Sometimes, pastors feel like they’re the only one in the boat paddling as hard as they can for the vision and mission of their church. And that can be really exhausting.
So, one way you can encourage your pastor is by jumping in and paddling with him or her toward that vision and mission.
Paul had people in his life that he called co-laborers, coworkers, people that were helping him and the call of God on his life and preaching the gospel. Those were people like Urbanus, Priscilla and Aquila, Timothy, Titus, and many others who he mentions in his writings. Clearly, they were a great joy to Paul.
So, if you want to encourage your pastor, jump in and help. Discover your gift and use it to forward your purpose and your mission and your vision.
If you don’t know what your spiritual gift is, that’s ok. Just jump in and help.
Your pastor will be really encouraged to have somebody in the boat with him or her paddling toward that vision, mission, and the goals of your church.
I hope this will bless and encourage your pastor.
