Pray for Your Pastor

Hey. This is Jimmy Dodd with a one minute pastor word of encouragement.

Pray for your pastor.

It seems so basic and so simple. But I really believe that this is the foundation of so much of what we do. Take some time each day just to even say a short prayer for your pastor.

I’d like to just actually remind you of some very specific things you should be praying for your pastor. There are lots of ways that you can help me actually remind you.

There’s a PastorServe app. It’s in all the stores. And I can each day push you a notice that just says, “Hey. Here’s some things that I would really like you to pray for your pastor this day.” (Update – the PastorServe app is no longer available)

Or you can text the word pastor, P-A-S-T-O-R, to 74574. And each day, you will have a very short text that just says one very specific thing that you could be praying for your pastor that day. What a basic foundation.
