Honoring Frank Brown, Encourager of Pastors

Frank Brown

Frank Brown entered into his heavenly reward early Monday morning, September 18. Frank was born February 7, 1933, as he is a beautiful model of living life for the glory of the Lord and the good of others. Frank was a dear friend to PastorServe. Frank always referred to PastorServe founder Jimmy Dodd as “my pastor”. Frank and Jimmy traveled around the US and Haiti where they ministered together, particularly speaking about generosity.

Frank had three distinct careers. Frank was a long-time pilot for TWA. Following retirement from the airline industry, he launched a successful business in Kansas City. And finally, Frank was known in Kansas City and around the nation as a giver. After his wife Barbara went to be with the Lord in 1997, Frank opened up his home to young men who were struggling in their marriage. Frank cared for dozens of young men, many whom lived in Frank’s red shag carpet room for as long as six months. There are countless restored marriages largely because of Frank Brown. PastorServe grieves Frank’s passing but we rejoice at his graduation into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In lieu of flowers, Frank’s family has asked that you honor his legacy with a gift to PastorServe.
